Exporting the variables to my env worked fine i.e. WHOIS_SERVER=whois.apnic.net (also have tried WHOIS_SERVER whois.apnic.net, WHOIS_SERVER:whois.apnic.net, WHOIS_SERVER whois.apnic.net etc) but this stanza didn't work in when placed whois.conf. jamie -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
