Does anybody have a problem with Linux and Intel
SRCU31 Raid controller?
I'm compiling kernel (2.2.19-20, 2.4.7,
2.4.17) for boot floppy.
Server based on Intel STL2 serverboard failed
to load kernel compiled with support of I2O, though system finds I2O controller
and checks it when booting kernel.
Then after loading root floppy system tells
"/dev/i2o/hda locked by another user" (on system console) and installation
program cannot proceed because it see no hard drives. Its all about 2.2
kernel
kernel 2.4 falls into panic when checking I2O
controller.
