Hello list, My company has a plan to migrate a FreeBSD 4.4 to Debian 2.2r4. A couple of minutes of downtime is acceptable, but my core problem is:
How can I transfer the account/password from FreeBSD to Debian? I may be wrong, but I remember FreeBSD uses MD5 passwd encryption while Debian default does not. In this case, how can I migrate the account/password from FreeBSD to Linux? Is there any thing I should keep in mind?
