Am currently exploring building a machine for a corporation to replace their soon-to-be-installed exchange 2000 server... (yes - the word "red tape" comes to mind. So does "corporate infight" *grin*)
Anyways I'm exploring exactly this situation. At this point I've tried cyrus+OpenLDAP+postfix+horde/imp and it's looking good (albeit cyrus hasn't been tested with LDAP yet :) So I'm guessing that other members here have explored this situation too... So if anyone's interested I'll post info as I go. So far: chose debian-unstable for OpenLDAP 2 support (plus some other difficulties debian-unstable resolved) ISPman's being currently used for maintenance, but is not entirely OpenLDAP-2 compatible have not as yet tested cyrus and imp - until the LDAP directories are seeded ldap-abook (AddressBook project on sourceforge) looks good for Exchange-style addressbook And incidentally, just to keep this ontopic for ISP reference as well, other than the obvious *g*, I'm testrunning this config for reconfiguring an ISP I do occasional maintenance for... G'day, eh? :) - Teunis Peters ps: my employment depends on my ability to succeed *deep sigh*. It's such a pain to be unemployed... especially when bills come due. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
