I get the following sequence of messages in /var/log/messages kernel: Cannot find map file kernel: Error seeking in /dev/kmem kernel: Symbol #ehci-hcd, value 000e4000 kernel: Error adding kernel module table entry.
The first of these is the third after restart Is this refering to System.map and if so, where does it expect to find it? What problems would these errors cause? Mostly, things seem to work, though the joystick doesn't. Programs can "see" the joystick but the input data is wrong. Richard Harke
