You may have noticed that a new package introduced debconf templates which you might want to translate in your language, namely the "numad" package.
I suggest *not* working on these templates' translations. They are considered (by me but also by the Best Packaging Practices) as debconf abuse : they are "notes" that are just displayed to users installing the package, at high priority, with no input or interaction. Such behaviour is considered abusive as it interrupts automatic installs. See debconf-devel(7) for a rationale *against* the use of such notes. Therefore, I requested in a bug report them to be dropped from the package and their content moved to README.Debian, wherey they belong. Tthose of you who track translations with the robot may point the robot for their language to the "abuse" bug report (#797859). --
