As you probably noticed, some more changes popped up in Debian Installer strings.
Some are really standard stuff: a new feature of the graphical installer that will allow users to open a terminal window and use a shell in the installer environment. Some others are trickier: an option to support RAID6 was added and that was an opportunity to slightly factorize some strings. instead of hardcoding "RAID0", "RAID1",e tc. in similar strings, a variable was introduced. You'll then notice strings such as "RAID${LEVEL}". As usual when variables are involved, DON'T TRANSLATE THE VARIABLE NAMES. Example for French: msgid "Active devices for the RAID${LEVEL} multidisk device:" +msgstr "Périphériques actifs pour le périphérique RAID${LEVEL} multidisque :" Please also take great care to use opening/closing brackets. Such errors will be spotted by the spellchecker (http://d-i.alioth.debian.org/spellcheck). While you're at it....just look at errors spotted by the spellchecker for your language and correct them. Time to set you up for Lenny release, folks..:-) --
