Hi, Any thoughts on the following interesting question?
Thanks, Ardo
--- Begin Message ---Thanks for inclusion of Portuguese(s) language(s) in DebianDoc. I have a question about the value of value for "pt =>" in the file Alias.pm: The Portuguese language, in DebianDoc, is the first that have support for your variants (as Brazilian(BR) and Portugal(PT)). In the file that I send you, the value for pt => is 'pt_PT'. But, some persons in the local discussion list, they complained with me because I am a Brazilian and put the value of 'pt =>' as pt_PT, because it has largest number of users. The more correct value for 'pt => ??' is the parent language of variants of language (i.e. Portugal) or the country with the largest number of users? I personally choose the "parent language" of our language (Brazilian). Did I make the correct option?
