Would you be willing to convert your upstream changes into a git merge request and submit it upstream at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gvfs/-/merge_requests ? I haven't taken the time to understand whether these patches make sense: do they remove critical functionality? Just making a package build isn't helpful if it doesn't actually work. I am unwilling to add dh_missing --list-missing to a package since I prefer a hard error when files are missing. Sometimes it would be appropriate -X (for --exclude) for certain files that don't matter. Or you could do something like: ifeq (,$(filter $(DEB_TARGET_ARCH), hurd-amd64 hurd-i386)) dh_missing --list-missing else dh_missing endif Thank you, Jeremy Bícha
