Thank you. I've added 'set -v -x' to /etc/hurd/runsystem.sysv and I see executed commands. The 'pipe' error occures between '# Check boot flags' and '#Start the default pager'. As I understand I have to launch 'shell' before it, and run '/usr/lib/hurd/setup-translators'.
