There has been a test failing since about 1:2.12.2+next.20170330-1
I don't think anybody has had a look at it.

Git bumped to 2.26.2 recently. 2.26 may have cleared the test failure.
The Git folks are pretty good at staying on top of self test failures.
buildd log still shows the failure.
