Hi, openssl 1.1.0 is in experimental right now. The svn branch [0] has most of the issues fixed for hurd (the last upload has a permament problem so no need to retry). There is one test in the testsuite that fails from time to time. Chances are that the next upload builds. If you want to dig deeper and fix it once and for all then there is an upstream bug open [1] and it looks like a kernel/libc bug.
