I wish i could tell you. If there is some way i can get logs from the installation or see console output i'd be happy to provide you the details. At this point the computer just restarts, thats all information i have. The installer seems flaky in some ways. Sometimes it just stalls (again i wish i could give you some logs and information but i don't know how to access them). If i try the installation again it runs through without problems. Once installed the system is rock solid though. > > It just works for me without a glitch. > >> 3.) I tried the three network cards i had laying around and none worked. But i'll stick to the Netgear i'm using at the moment as it seems to work better than the d-link i previously used. For one it gets a dhcp adress with the older images. I could have a look at the netdde makefile and see if i can help out there. But don't count on anything. I have used linux for 13 years now and i have at least picked picked up something. I can read c/c++ code and have a basic understanding on how it works but i couldn't write a single line of code on my own. I'm trying my best to get my brother onboard though. And he has programmed a lot of linux stuff from kernel modules to...
