Hi, I need help in creating Debian GNU Hurd .iso CDs. I have been able to get the pool-hurd-i386 packages using:
rsync -rv rsync.debian-ports.org::debian/pool-hurd-i386/ pool-hurd-i386 Is this sufficient? In local_fs.h (from http://www.copyleft.co.nz/tarball-scripts.tgz) there seems to be a use of dists/sid/. So we need to obtain dists/ also from http://rsync.debian-ports.org/? In CONF.sh, MIRROR and LMIRROR (local mirror) are refering to the same directory. Why is it so? This Hurd documentation build uses ftp-gnuab and is a bit old? http://www.mail-archive.com/debian-hurd@lists.debian.org/msg19309.html @Philip: Is it possible for you to write a detailed HOWTO on your build process?
