Hello, I've attempted a gcc-4.3-build of glibc, available on http://youpibouh.thefreecat.org/debian-hurd/glibc/ and it seems to work fine.
It also contains the DF fix, a liboil fix, and the use of libpthread-stubs. As upgrading from gcc-4.2 to gcc-4.3 is a non trivial change, please people try this package and report any regression from the debian-provided 2.7-7.
