It is only a waste of time if you consider it a waste of time. If the GNU/Hurd port is going to have the same one for a while it may be helpful. Also should this type of info be placed in the www.gnu.org hosted GNU/Hurd users guide? Well, this is a Debian GNU/Hurd issue, so it really doesn't have a place on the Hurd project pages, but a link to the Debian GNU/Hurd project wouldn't harm I guess. Maybe a seperate tutorial should be created and placed online specifically for the cd distribution installs. Better not, one more doc that essentially documents what the rest documents already. Better to incoperate all installation issues for Debian GNU/Hurd into one place. One place to look it up at, one place to update it at, one place to refer to, etc. Really, a decent installation guide that documents all the installation methods would be _great_. Cheers!
