I've been working on this problem on and off for a little while
(it'll be more "on" now that I'm back from vacation). The problem is that
the translator for iso9660 (cd) file systems doesn't currently work as a
bootstrap filesystem. Once we get that problem taken care of (and
currently I'm thinking it's not insurmountable) we should be able to
create a hurd live cd in short order.Greg Buchholz
