I didn't have time the last week to test it, maybe tomorrow I'll have a chance. I installed HURD again from F3 CDs and finally I got a working bind, but it runs with warnings and ii isn't completely useful; in example, ndc start or stop doesn't works. Anyway, bind recognized and loaded sucessfully a small domain that I wrote, and it accepts request locally; I don't have a network to test it. Maybe ppp works good enought to test it with internet. =) I don't want to put bind packages in my homepage because the are very buggy, but if someone is interested in test it just write me and I'll send you bind's packages. I have a question: when bind starts it appears to have a problem: Aug 28 19:17:38 (null) syslogd: restart Aug 28 19:17:36 (null) named[49]: limit files set to fdlimit (256) Aug 28 19:17:36 (null) named[49]: setrlimit(max number of open files): Function not implemented Aug 28 19:17:36 (null) named[49]: setrlimit(max number of open files): Function not implemented Aug 28 19:17:37 (null) named[49]: hint zone "" (IN) loaded (serial 0) Aug 28 19:17:37 (null) named[49]: master zone "localhost" (IN) loaded (serial 1)Aug 28 19:17:37 (null) named[49]: master zone "127.in-addr.arpa" (IN) loaded (serial 1) Aug 28 19:17:37 (null) named[49]: master zone "0.in-addr.arpa" (IN) loaded (serial 1) Aug 28 19:17:37 (null) named[49]: master zone "255.in-addr.arpa" (IN) loaded (serial 1) Aug 28 19:17:37 (null) named[49]: master zone "foo" (IN) loaded (serial 1) Aug 28 19:17:37 (null) named[49]: master zone "192.in-addr.arpa" (IN) loaded (serial 1) Aug 28 19:17:37 (null) named[49]: ctl_server: setsockopt(REUSEADDR): Operation not supported Aug 28 19:17:38 (null) named[49]: listening on [127.0.0.1].53 (lo) Aug 28 19:17:38 (null) named[49]: Forwarding source address is [0.0.0.0].1024 Aug 28 19:17:38 (null) named[53]: Ready to answer queries.
