First of all, it's a great pleasure to meet this list. It's my first message
and i hope to become part of the 'team'.

As a effort to help the development of the Debian GNU/Hurd i've been trying to
install Hurd on my computer. I'm using a PII, 333Mhz with 130Mb RAM and a 1Gb
disk. I've created a CD from a .ISO file and i'm trying to install it.
I've tryied to partion the disk in 2 parts of 500Mb and a swap with 80Mb, a
single part with 950Mb and a swap with 120 (almost that!), with ext2 file
system and a GNU/Hurd filesystem. The instalation process asks for the Hurd's
Base file. It locates it and install. After that, the systems comes back to the
Base Install process, saying that there might be already a system installed,
and i should start from scratch or i could install it over. I attempted to skip
that part, and reboot the system...but no 'bootable' media is found. Can
anybody give me a little hand?
I'm looking over some Hurd docs for a possible cause of the problem, but...

Thank you,
Leonardo Custodio
