Package: libc-bin
Version: 2.9-26
Severity: normal

ldd is unusable here:

$ ldd -v /bin/ls

But this seems to be the root cause:

$ /lib/ld-linux.so.2 --verify /bin/ls
Illegal instruction (core dumped)
