No, the getdents-fix patch posted in the bug fixes integer overflow that glibc maintainers refuse to handle. > At Tue, 11 Feb 2003 12:46:35 -0600, > Nathan Straz wrote: > > I have successfully rebuilt glibc 2.3 with this dpatch. Last time I tried to apply it to the Debian glibc package, I wasn't able to rebuild glibc because nptl was getting in the way. I gave up and used the kernel patch with a 2.4.25 kernel. That worked. > I don't know it's glibc problem. What's the point of this patch? If > kernel 2.4 + glibc 2.3 works fine, then we don't need to introduce > such a workaround patch to glibc... After I got this message from you I built a stock 2.4.27-rc3 kernel. I'm having the same readdir troubles as I was before. -- Nate Straz [EMAIL PROTECTED] sgi, inc http://www.sgi.com/ Linux Test Project http://ltp.sf.net/
