Downloading went fine, but the upgrade itself crashed. When it came to replace the libc6 an error occured when executing the postremove script from the old libc6. It seems that the glibc files are not installed correctly (or they may not matching my architecture, sun4c), so that the shell script cannot be executed. I have no clue how to fix it ... Unfortunatelly, debian sparc porters decided to drop sun4c support from sarge, because the hw multiplication was enabled. IIRC, there's no fix. Please use woody. I close this bug... Regards, -- gotom
