this report came into ActiveState Technical support form a user=20
running Debian Sid and ActiveSTate Komodo 2.3:

There is a problem with the most recent build of libc6 on debian.=20
The version that was crashing Komodo was libc-2.3.2-5_i386, reverting=20
back to v2.3.2-3_i386 fixes these problems.
