Is there a public place that you and Thomas discuss Hurd-ish stuff? I know that I learned alot about Glibc, the linux kernel and a number of the "sourceware" packages at cygnus by watching web-archives of the private technical discussions. I realize that I've got a lot to learn before I could hope to, say, write a filesystem - But I think that following along in web archives helps to let us understand some of the architecture.
