Package: libc6 Version: 2.3.2-4 Severity: normal Executing and parsing the output of /lib/libc.so.6 is a portable way to guess the version of libc6 accross Linux distributions. It used to work fine until a recent libc update in sid. Now instead of printing version information, here's what I get:
