Matthias, we repeatedly saw such report, and we everytime closed such requests. The problem is every glibc package version has different glibc cvs base because we update frequently from the latest upstream cvs. So we can't guarantee the locale behavior of glibc. > Please decouple this tight dependency. One idea is "Depends: libc6 (>= 2.3.1-17)" or something, I modify such way. The reason "2.3.1-17" is that this version is synchronized and provided on all archs. Anyone complaints this change?
