Bug closed -- read the quote from #[EMAIL PROTECTED]:
"if you upgrade stable-->testing, first *manually* install libc6 2.2.5-6",
solved the issue on the same day.

Sorry, had no time to close this bug before.

PS. Attend to it, someone -- having conflicting packages in testing 
makes you feel uncomfortable about the branch, according to Debian 
policy on testing packages:
"They must be in sync on all architectures where they have been built 
and mustn't have dependencies that make them uninstallable"
