sorry, but I am not sure what do you mean exactly, I am using the
command bellow:
gbp buildpackage -S -sa --git-pbuilder --git-dist=${DIST}-ubuntugis
--git-ignore-new
with `--git-pbuilder` option.

I created new fresh environment by (with .pbuilderrc [1])
export DIST=wily
sudo -E cowbuilder --create --distribution=$DIST
--basepath=/var/cache/pbuilder/base-${DIST}-ubuntugis.cow
--save-after-login
The error remains.
