The release of wheezy saw the upgrade to mapserver 6.0.1, and upstream has 6.2.1 out. The pkg-grass git repo showed activity for 6.2.0, but none for 6.2.1 yet.
Since I cherry picked a change to fix Content-Type matching when a charset is appended from 6.2.1 [1] for a local rebuild of mapserver 6.0.1 intended for my wheezy server, I thought about packing 6.2.1 for jessie and wheezy-backports. [1] https://github.com/faegi/mapserver/commit/426193cf5f6b34c97cceef2aca4649c604756cd0 In my clone of the pkg-grass mapserver repo I've made the necessary changes to build mapserver 6.2.1, based on debian/6.0.1-4. http://git.linuxminded.nl/?p=pkg-grass/mapserver;a=summary I would like to contribute my changes to the Debian GIS team, and help out with maintaining mapserver in Debian. I'm not a DD nor DM, but this could be a good step in that direction. Would someone be willing to review my changes? And should I upload package to mentors or is the git repo sufficient?
