Hi YunQiang SuI noticed you recently did an upload of cross-toolchain-base-mipsen with a fix for this problem, which was most appreciated. I was hoping you were looking into an upload for gcc-13-cross-mipsen and gcc-14-cross-mipsen as well.
I noticed that Matthias Klose already did a similar patch for gcc-14-cross with commit id 5cd905f475a1c55e587a91ef9cbbb9bb5dbd6b34. You probably also want to look into 1d504eaf67f3db695b6032ce28e1e29c3ad28ba5 for a fix to #1089262. I suspect both of those can be cherry-picked to the relevant mipsen branch with the bug numbers updated.
If I do not hear from you, I will look into doing an NMU for both packages based on the above commits, since I promised the release team I would do my part in ensuring progress here (https://lists.debian.org/debian-release/2025/01/msg00203.html). Though, I would strongly prefer a maintainer upload to ensure we get the best reviewed changes and the least delay.
Hope to hear from you soon! Best regards, Niels
