Dear All, I'm planning to upload a new version of src:gcc-doc-defaults, which will contain a change of binary package version style. Previously, all the binary packages had the same version as the source package. In the new package I'll change it to reflect the actual default version of gcc (cpp, and so on).
Eg., in amd64, for the binary package gcc-doc, the current is Version: 5:4, and the upcoming upload will be Version: 5:4.8.0-1. This means that gcc-doc will have different version numbers in different archs, just as gcc does. I think this change won't cause any dependency bugs. However if there'll be any, feel free to tell me. FYI, the git repo is at git://git.debian.org/users/yixuan-guest/gcc-doc-defaults.git Best regards, GUO Yixuan
