Package: mpfr Version: 2.2.0.dfsg.1-4 Your package fails to build with GCC 4.2. Version 4.2 has not been released yet but I'm building with a snapshot in order to find errors and give people an advance warning. The tpow test fails when I compile your package with a 4.2 snapshot from 20060325, but not with 4.0.3 or 4.1.0. I'm not sure whether this is a bug in your package or in the compiler - I tried removin the -O3 from Makefile but it still shows the problem. Do you think you can investigate, and in the case it's a compiler bug come up with a minimal test case?
