Package: java-gcj-compat
Version: 1.0.28-6
Severity: important

Hi,

just realized that one of the last uploads of the gcc-4.0 source package
broke the links in the /usr/lib/jvm/java-gcj/include directory:

gandalf:/usr/lib/jvm/java-gcj/include# ls -l
insgesamt 4
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root   41 2005-06-20 13:14 gcj ->
.../../../gcc/i486-linux/4.0.1/include/gcj
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root   44 2005-06-20 13:14 jawt.h ->
.../../../gcc/i486-linux/4.0.1/include/jawt.h
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root   47 2005-06-20 13:14 jawt_md.h ->
.../../../gcc/i486-linux/4.0.1/include/jawt_md.h
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root   43 2005-06-20 13:14 jni.h ->
.../../../gcc/i486-linux/4.0.1/include/jni.h

The directory i486-linux changed to i486-linux-gnu
in the libgcj6-dev package. Severity important as it
breaks compiling java stuff with jni code.

Regards,
Wolfgang

Changes:
 java-gcj-compat (1.0.28-7) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * Populate with more symlinks (as seen in the Blackdown JDK):
     - Move jawt_md.h symlink to linux/jawt_md.h.
     - Add src.zip symlink (and recommend libgcj6-src).
     - Add jre/lib/rt.jar symlink to libgcj-4.0.1.jar.
   * Split package into java-gcj-compat and java-gcj-compat-dev.
     Currently java-gcj-compat depends on java-gcj-compat-dev,
     to avoid breaking build dependencies.
   * Add gcj-dbtool symlink.
   * Rebuild with new gnu-type names. Closes: #315646.
   * Add symlinks for the manpages. Closes: #313228.
