Package: gcc-3.3 Version: 1:3.3.4-13 Severity: serious Justification: no longer builds from source
I was trying to build a gcc-3.3.4 cross compiler for arm, but my build failed with a missing 'realpath' command, which seems to be provided by the package 'realpath'. Should gcc-3.3 source build-dep on realpath by any chance or is this simply a cross compiler build issue? -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-1-k7 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages gcc-3.3 depends on: ii binutils 2.15-4 The GNU assembler, linker and bina ii cpp-3.3 1:3.3.4-13 The GNU C preprocessor ii gcc-3.3-base 1:3.3.4-13 The GNU Compiler Collection (base ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-16 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgcc1 1:3.4.2-2 GCC support library -- no debconf information
