Yes, compiler should be fixed to give link error.

No problem with that. (Actually, it is not *totally*
unreasonable. Array is slighlty bigger than 1.2GB if I read it
correctly. We should have enough address space to make it fit; maybe
with modified ld.so or something like that.)
