Just curious about some of the numbers that are left in the file when I export my ruleset to a file via # iptables-save > iptables.rules
Here's some of the lines from my iptables.rules file: # Completed on Thu Oct 21 13:29:59 2004 # Generated by iptables-save v1.2.6a on Thu Oct 21 13:29:59 2004 *filter :INPUT DROP [150:23900] :FORWARD ACCEPT [24:2250] :OUTPUT DROP [18:1020] What is the purpose of the "[150:23900]" and "[24:2250]" etc. etc. entries?
