Hi all, I'm happy to announce a Sprint focusing bootstrapping and cross-building Debian!
When: March 27-30 2025 Where: Germany, 97082 Würzburg, angestoepselt e.V., Zeller Straße, 29/31 The venue is with angestoepselt e.V. who kindly lends us their facilities where they usually repair and set up computers to donate them to people in need. Their office has room for up to 9 participants and is located in walking distance (500 m) of the Würzburg historic city center. This also means that there are a couple of convenient lodging options nearby. Relevant wiki page: https://wiki.debian.org/Sprints/2025/BootstrapCrossbuild This is the first sprint with me as the main organizer, so things will be a bit chaotic and not as well planned as you are used to from other sprints. But while this sprint might not exude peak professionalism, the very small Debian bootstrapping Team will make up for it with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. :) So if you too are an enjoyer of severe pain involving multiarch, cross-building, gcc, sbuild, rebootstrap, chrootless GNU/Hurd, cross-reproducibility and more, then please add your name to the table on the wiki page above! ;) I'm looking forward to meeting you all in Würzburg at the end of March. :) Thanks! cheers, josch
