Hello, from Monday 2005-06-20 to Tuesday 2005-06-21 Debian had a booth at the Open Source Symposium 2005: www.de.debian.org/events/2005/0620-oss2005 www.oss2005.de Debian was represented by Michael Meskes ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) and me ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).
It was a really bad idea to have this event direct before the Linuxtag in Karlsruhe (www.de.debian.org/events/2005/0622-linuxtag) because this reduced the visitors much (the two locations are just around 100 km away). The symposium was held in the rooms of the Technical Academy of Esslingen (www.tae.de). There were about 10 exhibitors companies except Debian. Debian was the only free project there. The audience were primarly buissness people and on every days there were about 20-30 people who attended the talks. There was only one track of talks and in the breaks some people asked some questions but no technical stuff (no "when do you release";)) Michael hold a talk about Debian: http://www.ccos.de/index.php?id=119 https://www.credativ.com/~mme/2005/OSS_2005.pdf -- Noèl Köthe <noel debian.org> Debian GNU/Linux, www.debian.org
