-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all,
I'd like to suggest a speech for LT2003: "Backporters Guide To The Debian Galaxy And Why To Operate Your Own Repository In Production Environments" (current working title *g*) As far as I'm done until now, these would be the contents: 1. Overview - What is a Backport and why should I use it/do it? 2. Short HOWTO (perhaps some short demonstration) 3. Building and maintainig a "private" repository (Overview and HOWTO) What kind of audience is expected to listen? I'd like to consider the interests of this audience - keeping the focus on operational aspects for administrative staff, keeping the focus on "avoiding an upgrade to sid or sarge" for geeks and similar ... Why do I offer this speech? I'm currently working on a Backporting Guide (will be released under GNU FDL at www.debianhowto.de) since I'm actually working on several backports *g* As I read the 2nd CFP I wrote Joey and here we go ;) Daniel -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+0i8PcVAcx24saqoRAtQaAJwJvYVgf9tVJvNEGrJ9GWwGO0+1CgCeMI8I NYbb+mIT+xe+Bw64wMcH5ps= =E3+T -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
