On a similar note, it is important to get eeepc-acpi-scripts to work with the 2.6.28 and newer rfkill technology. In the short term, this means integrating Darren Salt's patches into the git repo, and figuring out how to deal with the different reporting of wireless hotkey events. In the long term, this might actually expedite integration with the generic packages since there might finally be a functioning general backend.
