Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. The removal is already on hold due to there being a reverse depends. I don't know about other ways to anyalze wpad files. My interest in this is strictly related to archive hygiene and moving the python2-rm process along. I'm marking the rm bug as done based on this feedback. I'll go ahead with my NMU to drop python2 support. Since debian-edu is interested in the package, I strongly recommend you consider adopting it because it's clearly unmaintained. I'll leave the bug against debian-edu open as a reminder (feel free to close it if that's not useful). Scott K
