It seems that gvfs-backends needs to be installed on the roaming workstation (gvfs-fuse unneeded). At least accessing the remote homedir (10.3 main server) from a Debian Edu 10.3 roaming ws (w/ default desktop Xfce) is working in this case. Please check. Wolfgang
