It would be helpful to have a mode where an LTSP server (or mobile workstation, for that matter) synchronises a configurable subset of home directories from the master rather than mounting it. That way, a decentral Skolelinux network could be created, with master server in one location and LTSP servers in a remote location, and no really fast network link between them. At Teckdis, we experimetned with csync2 for that.
