8.5 is basically frozen now, and already has seen this pre-announce: https://lists.debian.org/debian-stable-announce/2016/05/msg00001.html I also think the printing fix is easy enough to (communicate+)do manually, that I don't think we should delay the release by another two months, pushing it after the summer holidays… -- cheers, Holger
