Package: education-tasks Version: 1.700 Severity: grave The version of education-tasks in Wheezy do not work with the tasksel version in wheezy. The primary reason is that the task file location was changed in tasksel version 3.00 (see BTS #694894) from /usr/share/tasksel/ to /usr/share/tasksel/descs/, and the current education-tasks package install the file in the now obsolete location.
This caused tasksel to ignore the Debian Edu tasks, and the installation of Debian Edu fail to install the packages it should. Moving the file to the descs/ subdirectory solve the problem. To stay compatible with older tasksel versions, a symlink can be placed in /usr/share/tasksel/, but it is most likely not needed if a Breaks/Conflicts is added. The install path is defined in /usr/share/blends-dev/rules from blends-dev.
