Hi, according to this:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/autofs/+bug/40189/comments/32 the "restart" (better than reload) of autofs happens correctly as the eth0 is set and there is no mount hangs any more. I WOULD PUSH FOR such an improvment also on DebianEdu RC1 since from time to time hangs are also present in the orginal versions!!! Tested for autoclient on Debian Wheezy and Ubuntu 11.04, with different syntaxes, since debian do not use "restart" and prefers a "/etc/init.d/autofs restart" call I've to check if this change doesn't hurt the perfect running 10.04. Last I'll do installations of 11.10, 12.04 and squeeze plain BEST regards -- Sysadmin SPSE-Tenero Ufficio: +41 91 735 62 48 Cellulare: +41 79 629 20 63 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
