I know probably it can't be insert in the r1, but I realy would like ITALC preinstalled and preconfigured (http://italc.sourceforge.net/). Actualy I'm trying to use it http://italc.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php?title=Download:Debian (install) http://italc.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php?title=ITALC_in_a_ThinClient_environment (configure, miss the key generation) and trying to create a script for make it work with only 1 step but my time is too little.
