[Knut Yrvin] > Petter has asked for such a solution many times, and here it is.
Actually, I have asked for test hardware to get it working out of the box in Debian Edu. The multiseat package from Ubuntu used to work for a four seat solution, but it has not been updated for a long time and do no longer work. It is not very hard to get this working, if the video cards used can be used together. With USB keyboards and mice, it is no problem to have several plugged into the same machine, and the only challenge is grouping of the displays, keyboards and mices, which can be done by displaying information in the screen and asking for feedback on the keyboard, as <URL:http://userful.com/> obviously is doing. If you want to check out the multiseat package, it is in the etch-test APT repository.
