Thanks. Changing Jessie to sid results in other problems. Something about sysvinit-utils:amd64. I don't know if its syscall.x32=y or the Cinnamon desktop, but its making my life hell because I am a Debian an admin. Does Debian have a first class, X32 ISO image yet? Jeff
