This wouldn't work because e.g. /etc/passwd is no conffile. Furthermore, it wouldn't work for files using update-alternatives. Perhaps considering debian/conffiles plus having a dynamic mechanism would be the best solution, but a dynamic way must be provided in any case. -- Martin Michlmayr [EMAIL PROTECTED]
